The Adams Road and Elm Road intersection in Granger is now a 4-way stop.
St. Joseph County crews converted the intersection on Wednesday, Aug. 3.
Crews have installed new signage, pavement markings, advance warning signs and advance warning pavement markings.
The St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners approved the conversion in June to address the safety concerns related to the crash data and crash frequency, as well as expect the type of crash to change from right angle or “T-Bone” crashes to rear end crashes at lower speeds and reduced severity.
