Elkhart police identify 3 killed by masked gunmen at home

ELKHART, Ind. (AP) — Police have identified the three men killed after two masked men forced their way into a northern Indiana home where 10 people had gathered and started shooting.

Elkhart police on Tuesday said the victims were 30-year-old Terrance Underwood of Elkhart, 35-year-old John Underwood of Chicago, and 26-year-old Navelle Goodman of Goshen. They did not say whether Terrance Underwood and John Underwood were related.

Sgt. Chris Snyder said in a new release the victims apparently were visiting with friends and family before the shooting. Two bodies were found inside the home and one outside. Three other adults and four children at the home were not injured.

Police have said the victims appeared targeted attack but haven’t said what may have led to the shootings or released any information about possible suspects.
