For the second time in two weeks, the 1st Source Bank branch on W. Lexington Avenue in Elkhart has been robbed.

The heist happened just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Police say two suspects entered the bank. One of them waved a gun and demanded money. After getting cash, the suspects ran off, ABC 57 reported.

The same branch was robbed back on Saturday, July 23. Police described the suspects in that robbery as being two black males wearing masks with dark or gray clothing. However, there is no word whether investigators believe Wednesday’s robbery is connected to the one that happened last month.
