Todd Rundgren to be artist-in-residence at Notre Dame for 10 days

SOUTH BEND, Ind. (AP) — Musician and music producer Todd Rundgren will serve as an artist-in-residence for 10 days at the University of Notre Dame.

The university says he will teach several classes in the Department of Film, Television and Theatre from Sept. 22 to Oct. 1. He also will work with students and teachers in the South Bend and Mishawaka area, perform with student bands in a concert Oct. 1 and organize an on-campus collection of used musical instruments for national redistribution to music students in need.

Rundgren says he is looking forward to his first visit to Notre Dame. He also will attend Notre Dame’s football game against Duke on Sept. 24.

He is best known for his songs “Hello It’s Me” and “Bang The Drum All Day.”
