We now know when an accused child molester in South Bend will be going to trial.

Tony Arguello appeared in court Thursday for a pre-trial conference, according to WNDU.

Arguello has been charged with seven counts of child molesting. The victims were six and eight years old relatives of an ex-girlfriend, according to court documents.

One of the victims told his family about the sexual acts that Arguello was forcing him into, and they contacted authorities. Then, the other victim said Arguello assaulted her on a daily basis. He’d bribe her with candy and said he wanted to marry her.

Arguello will go to trial on Sept. 26.
