Trial of suspect in Walkerton CVS beating starts Monday

A woman accused of helping beat a woman in a Walkerton CVS parking lot in a “brutal” attack faces a jury this week.

Gabrielle Adams faces two felony charges of battery causing bodily injury and strangulation, according to court documents.

Adams also faces child neglect and drug possession charges. Her 15-month-old child was in the car when the attack happened.

Adams attacked the victim first. Then, Troy Burgh, the father of her child, joined in and threatened to kill the victim, according to WSBT.

A jury found Burgh guilty of battery and strangulation last week.
