It started with a police chase, continued with a standoff in Mishawaka, and ended with an arrest.

Police pursued a driver from South Bend over an apparent traffic violation early Tuesday morning, according to WSBT.

The suspect led police to the 400 block of 11th Street, then ran inside a home. Police closed the street. The suspect chose this particular home because he has a relationship with a woman who lived there, according to WNDU.

Police talked him out of the house without incident. It’s not clear if anyone else was in the home, though there are no reports of injuries.
