WikiLeaks founder promising leaks this week on U.S. election and Google

BERLIN (AP) — WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is promising “significant” disclosures on subjects including the U.S. election and Google in the coming weeks.

Assange, speaking by video link to a 10th anniversary news conference in Berlin, says WikiLeaks plans to start a series of publications this week, but he wouldn’t be more specific.

Assange has been taking refuge in the Ecuadorean Embassy in London since 2012 as he fights rape allegations in Sweden.
