Indiana University-South Bend’s chancellor is being considered for the top post at a Connecticut university.

Terry Allison is listed as one of three finalists for the president’s position at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain, Conn., according to the South Bend Tribune.

Allison met with CCSU officials in September, along with the two other finalists. He’s competing with leaders at West Chester University in Pennsylvania and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

CCSU is one of 17 colleges and universities in the state of Connecticut, with an enrollment of about 12,000 students.

The search committee at CCSU is expected to make a recommendation this month, with a final board of regents decision on Oct. 20.

Allison declined to comment to the South Bend Tribune.
