If you had planned on flying to some parts of Florida in the next 24 hours or so, you still can despite Hurricane Matthew’s anticipated brush with The Sunshine State.
As of Thursday morning, when the announcement was made, Allegiant Air’s flight from South Bend to St. Pete Thursday night was still a go. However, an Allegiant flight from South Bend to Orlando Friday morning was no longer listed on the website.
O’Hare flights showed no delays for the early part of Thursday, either, but both websites remind you that changes can and will happen quickly as needed.
Florida’s Governor came right out and said “This storm will kill you” while conveying just how dire the situation is expected to be in his state by Friday morning.
