Chicago Cubs look to even series with Cleveland Indians

CHICAGO (AP) — The Cubs will once again try for the first World Series win at Wrigley Field in 71 years when they host Cleveland in Game 4 tonight.

Chicago finds itself in a 2-1 hole after being shutout 1-0 by the Indians last night.

The Cubs turn to John Lackey get their first World Series win since 1945 and even the series. He has not pitched since Game 4 of the NLCS and will be going on nine days’ rest. Lackey has thrown four innings in each of his two playoff starts.

Corey Kluber takes the mound on three days’ rest for the Indians. He was the Game 1 winner to boost his postseason mark to 3-1 with a 0.74 ERA. The 2014 AL Cy Young Award winner has pitched scoreless ball in three of his four starts this postseason.
