The RV Factory is filling its new Elkhart facility with a new RV company it has bought.

It’s purchasing Bristol-based Augusta RV. RV Factory, which is in the process of relocating from Wakarusa to Elkhart, will also bring Augusta RV employees to its Elkhart plant, according to the South Bend Tribune.

Augusta RV makes two brands of luxury fifth wheels: Ambition and Luxe. Augusta employs about 80 people, which is double to what RV Factory employs. Both companies are factory-direct manufacturers and don’t sell RVs through dealerships.

Going forward, Augusta RV will continue to operate as a subsidiary.
