It happened just before 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, on Maudlin Road just north of the casino in New Buffalo, according to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.

The driver, identified as Edmund Hillman, 65, of New Buffalo, was found dead at the scene, the sheriff’s department stated.
