The University of Notre Dame has promoted two new department vice-presidents, making 18 vice-presidents in total for the school.
Doug Marsh and David Bailey were named vice-presidents. The university said Marsh had been named vice-president for facilities design and operations, and Bailey was promoted to vice president for strategic planning and institutional research, according to a press release.
Marsh is a 1982 alum and a South Bend native, and has served as the university architect and overseer of the utilities and maintenance team. Bailey, a 1983 Notre Dame graduate, has led the Office of Strategic Planning and Institutional Research for the past four years.
