The LaPorte County Drug Task Force arrested a violent felon with a history on Friday.

24 year-old Anthony Cobb of Lake County was arrested Friday in Michigan City after a burglary in progress call, according to The Herald Argus.

Cobb was found in the vehicle that was related to the crime, and a handgun was found in that vehicle after a search warrant was obtained by local police.

Cobb has a prior conviction for armed robbery in Lake County from 2011.
