A question over who owns a pitbull and her litter of puppies led to a gun being pulled and the dogs being stolen.

It happened in Bristol at a home in the 51000 block of C.R. 35 around 11 p.m. Thursday, according to the Elkhart Truth.

The victim told the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department she was arguing with someone she knows over the pit bull and puppies. The suspect left and returned with two others, according to police.

The three restrained the victim and another adult in her home. One of the suspects had a handgun as they stole the pit bull, puppies, and electronics from the home.

No arrests have been reported.
