One person killed, several other injured in police pursuit, crash on SR 933

One person was killed and several others were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on State Road 933 at Darden Road.

It happened around 4 p.m on Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The collison was the result of a police pursuit of four people in a silver Chevy Blazer out of Berrien County, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

A 62-year-old man was killed when his vehicle was t-boned by the suspects’ vehicle. The impact of the hit was so hard, the pick-up was cut in half.

ABC-57 reports the area was closed to traffic for hours for police to complete their investigation.

As far as the others who were hurt, two people are said to be in critical condition.
