Murder charges have been filed connected to the shooting death of a Knox man.

Edward Blackburn was arrested on Saturday afternoon, Mach 4, at the Spring Hill Suites hotel on Edison Lakes Parkway in Mishawaka.

Cord Colgrove, 35, was found shot and killed at a home in the 1400 block of W. 400 S. in Starke County on Friday night.

He was shot in the face, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Blackburn’s girlfriend, Augusta Hadden, 39, was with Blackburn at the hotel and was also taken into custody.
