A former teacher at NorthWood High School will likely not see prison after being sentenced for child seduction.

30-year-old Brooke Wilson was sentenced to a year and a half in prison for the Class D felony. However, that sentence will be served on probation in Ostego County, Michigan, according to the Elkhart Truth.

Wilson will also need to register as a sex offender.

She pleaded guilty in January, two and a half years after she was arrested. A male student reported to Wa-Nee School officials that he had gone on two “dates” with Wilson in 2013. She was arrested on July 2, 2014.

Court documents say that the two touched, kissed and had intimate contact with one another during those dates. Wilson admitted the two “made out” while she was a teacher.
