The St. Joseph County Emergency Management Agency will be using the system known as NIXLE to broadcast emergency alerts and other necessary notifications to citizens of the county.
Everyone is encouraged to sign up online at nixle.com for notifications that can be sent directly to a cell phone, email address, or both.
It’s a great way to stay connected with severe weather and other pertinent information regarding your community.
