South Bend shooting sends one to hospital

South Bend Police responded to reports of a shooting near Adams High School early Friday morning.

The shooting took place in the 1400 block of Mishawaka Ave. at about 3 a.m. Friday, according to ABC 57.

A man was taken to Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound. He’s expected to survive.

That section of Mishawaka Ave. was shut down for about an hour. No suspects are in custody.
