The South Shore Train is bringing back the Bikes on Trains program.

Riders will be permitted to bring their bikes onto the two morning and two afternoon rush hour weekday trains.

The bike rack-equipped trains will also be set up for certain weekend and holiday trains from April to October. Bike cars will be identified with a special bike symbol displayed on the windows.

Riders are reminded that bikes are NOT permitted during special Chicago events such as Lollapalooza and the Air & Water Show.
