Police: Man using Facetime while driving crashed into semi head-on

Distracted driving is believed to be a factor in a crash that injured two people in Marshall County.

The collision happened just after 4 a.m. on Monday, April 17, on U.S. 6 near Bremen, according to WNDU.

A 22-year-old Elkhart man admitted to police he was using Facetime on his smart phone while driving eastbound, WNDU reported.

The man’s vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a semi head-on, WNDU reported.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital for treatment.
