A New Paris man was killed in a crash at the intersection of County Road 37 and County Road 38 in Goshen.
The collision happened around 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19.
The victim, identified as Corey Maller, 29, was traveling south on SR 37 and ran the stop sign at the intersection., according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department.
A pickup truck, driven by a 20-year-old LaGrange man, heading west on SR 38 hit the driver’s side of Maller’s car, the sheriff’s department stated.
Maller was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, the sheriff’s department stated.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
All three people in the pickup truck were not injured.
