Arrest made after stabbing in South Bend

One person has been hospitalized and another has been arrested after a stabbing in South Bend.

It happened just before 12 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, at Michigan St. and Dubail Ave, according to South Bend Police.

The 29-year-old man who was attacked was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Sunny Stewart was arrested on Wednesday night on a charge of battery with a deadly weapon, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

Witnesses told authorities a fight may have led to the stabbing, ABC 57 reported.
