Police are looking for a man who fled the St. Joseph County courthouse before his verdict could be read.

38-year-old Michael Jackson is accused of cutting off his GPS device and leaving the courthouse Wednesday morning. This before he was found guilty of battery resulting in serious bodily injury, rape, and criminal confinement, according to ABC 57.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Jackson, along with an added charge of escape. He’s believed to have ties to Chicago, Indianapolis, and Atlanta.

If you’ve seen Jackson or know where he is, call 911 immediately.
