Police in Benton Harbor are investigating a shooting Thursday night that left a man wounded.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at the corner of Main and McCord in Benton Harbor, where a 38 year-old business owner was found wounded by gunfire.

The man was transported to Lakeland Hospital for treatment.

The Department of Public Safety says they are following up on several leads and a burgundy minivan seen in the area may have been connected to the incident. A black male dressed in black was described as a possible suspect.
