A Warsaw man was arrested after police say he had sex with a girl between the ages of 14 and 16.
Court documents indicate the girl was at a friend’s house when 21-year-old Edgar Sanchez approached her in the bathroom. Sanchez touched the victim and had sex with her without her consent, according to News Now Warsaw.
The probable cause affidavit says the girl’s friends were asleep when this occurred.
An adult who engages in sexual conduct with a child between the ages of 14 and 16 commits the crime of sexual misconduct, according to Indiana law.
Sanchez admitted to engaging in sexual acts with the girl and to knowing that she was between the ages of 14 and 16, according to court documents.
Sanchez was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on a felony charge of sexual misconduct with a minor. He is being held on a $30,250 bond.

Funny that this may be considered “RAPE” and the young man will be labeled a sex offender for life but the girl more than likely was into it and will suffer no consequence what so ever. Oh, and if she gets pregnant it is NOT ILLEGAL for her to have her baby professionally killed even without her parents permission. Has anyone noticed that 14,15,16 year old girls are not what they used to be? Especially the girls with very little to no parenting. The girl needs to suffer the same punishment as the young man if it was consensual sex! Her parents need to be prosecuted as accessories as well!
I agree the parents should be asked why their child was at a sleepover with adult males in the house; you’ll note that the article does not say he broke and entered. It also said that it was non-consensual so she was probably not ‘into’ it. She may have flirted with him but he went to her in the bathroom and knew she was underage and did the deed anyway; he should be labeled as a predator for life.
Or maybe he can just blame it on machismo, and brag about it later.
The article reads weird…”Sanchez touched the victim and had sex with her without her consent” I took this to mean she didn’t say yes but didn’t say no or anything…Above did say “The girl needs to suffer the same punishment as the young man if it was consensual sex” but the law always says she cant consent because she is to young and her brain is not developed enough to make a decision that important…Just mature enough to decide to kill a baby, not make one. Our society is so F’d up!
