U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski has organized a Jobs and Veteran’s Resource Fair that’s scheduled for this week.

The congresswoman’s office says there will be 1,200 jobs up for grabs at 55 companies at the jobs fair, which will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Thursday at Bethel College in Mishawaka. 10 veteran service organizations will also be on hand

Walorski told the Elkhart Truth it’s “a perfect opportunity to connect hard-working Hoosiers with new job opportunities at some of the many growing businesses in northern Indiana, and to help veterans get the resources they need.”

The event is free and open to the public.
