A Warsaw police officer in an unmarked car was at the drive-up and ATM area when the suspect walked in front of him. The suspect was taken into custody less than half a block away.

Halsey is facing initial charges of attempted robbery, failure to identify, and disorderly conduct.

Halsey was released from Kosciusko County Jail just an hour before the attempted robbery. He had been booked for failure to appear earlier in the week.
