Thor Industries may be looking to grow beyond Elkhart County.

It’s a reaction to the labor shortage in the county. That’s according Thor VP of Administration and Human Resources Ken Julian, who tells WSBT that the company remains focused on Elkhart County, and no jobs are leaving the area.

Thor already has facilities in Oregon and Idaho, but they would like to explore potential growth elsewhere in the Hoosier State.

Julian says their headquarters are in Elkhart for a reason, but with record sales, there is a need to find more skilled workers than the county can offer.
