Two firefighters hurt after fire breaks out at Granger garage

(Jon Zimney/95.3 MNC)

Two Clay Fire crew members are recovering from minor injuries after battling a blaze in Granger.

Crews from six different departments were called to the home in the 12000 block of Campfire Drive late Wednesday afternoon.

On arrival, they found the garage at a home in flames. They say the heat from the fire was so intense it melted the vinyl siding off a neighbor’s home. Crews were able to put it out within minutes, despite the two firefighters being injured.

The garage was a total loss.
