Vice President Mike Pence visits Culver on the Fourth of July

Vice President Mike Pence was back in Indiana for part of the Fourth of July and Michiana was on his agenda.

The VP, on his way to a planned stop in Michigan, made one first in the town of Culver on Tuesday. Pence visited a local business, snapped some photos with the locals, and may have even spent a little time on the lake.

WSBT spoke with the owner of the Culver Coffee Company, who said that when politics are involved, there will always be people for and against such a visit…but she took it as an endorsement of how much the community has to offer to visitors.
