Osceola man loses three fingers in fireworks mishap

A fireworks mishap in Osceola has left a man badly injured and a family looking for help.

22-year-old Justin Bowerman was lighting a firework for a group of kids at a graduation party on Saturday when it exploded while he was still holding it. The explosion took three of his fingers and left him with severe burns on other parts of his body.

His wife Amanda told ABC 57 that he had just started a new job three weeks ago while she stayed home with their two young children, and they have no insurance. More surgeries will be necessary.

A GoFundMe page has been set up by Amanda.
