Hit-and-run crash in Mishawaka leaves one woman injured

A hit-and-run crash on Douglas Road Tuesday night injured a female passenger.

According to Mishawaka police, the crash happened shortly after 6 p.m. near the 7-11 convenience store at Grape Road.

A black Jeep Cherokee crashed into the vehicle and left the scene, leaving the woman with minor injuries. Officers later found the Jeep and apprehended the driver.

No names have been released.
