Elkhart Police searching for gas station armed robbery

Elkhart Police are asking for your help finding a suspect who robbed a gas station last week.

Police say, just after midnight the morning of Monday, July 10, a man robbed the Admiral gas station on East Mishawaka Road.

An employee told police the suspect followed him behind the counter and showed a handgun. A brief fight ensued, but stopped when the suspect threatened to kill the employee. The suspect took cash and then fled.

He’s described as a black man, standing about 6’0″ tall with a medium build and short hair. He’s shown in pictures wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, white shoes, and a ball cap.
