Seven arrested in early morning drug raid in Mishawaka

Mishawaka Police have raided a home they believe was being used as a drug house.

The Street Crimes Unit raided the home in the 200 block of E. 4th St. at about 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Arrested were seven adults with “lengthy violent criminal histories from Chicago.” Their identities have not been revealed yet because they’ve not been formally charged yet. They’re facing pending charges of Dealing Heroin and Maintaining a Common Nuisance.

They’re also facing Child Endangerment charges because six children, between the ages of five and nine, were placed under the care of Department of Child Services.
