The suspect was found dead a few hours later outside of a friend’s home near Dragoon and Valley Trails in Mishawaka.

Investigators say Graham and the suspect had some sort of disagreement earlier in the day. After the shooting, the medical center was placed on lockdown.

The Rehabilitation Institute will be closed on Thursday, July 27, to allow workers to mourn Graham’s death. Counseling will be provided for employees in need.

A prayer service is set for noon, today, at 12 p.m. in the chapel in the Mishawaka Medical Center.

Graham was well-known throughout the medical community. Logan Community Services issued a statement expressing sadness due to his death. In the statement, they called Graham a generous supporter of Logan and a strong advocate for people with developmental disabilities, especially children with autism.

Graham also served as a consulting physician with the University of Notre Dame Athletics Department. In a statement released, the University expressed condolences, as well as prayers, for Graham’s family and friends.
