A shooting turns fatal south of the bypass in Mishawaka.
At about 1:10 p.m. Wednesday, officers in St. Joseph County were dispatched to the parking lot at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka after a reported shooting.
ABC 57’s Vahid Sadrzadeh reported live:
The St. Joseph County coroner is at the scene and police did confirm to ABC 57 that the shooting was fatal. The victim was found dead in the parking lot.

No word on the identity of the victim. The suspect is believed to be a white male in his 40s or 50s. He was seen driving north in a red Dodge Neon that may be in bad shape. If you’ve seen him, do not approach him and contact police.
