Two days after two men were arrested, two men were killed, and two others were critically hurt, charges have officially been filed.
25-year-old Anton James Jr. and 29-year-old Damon Bethel were both killed on Frederickson Street in South Bend at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday. 40-year-old Ronald Snyder and 37-year-old Robert Brady were arrested afterward.
Friday, Snyder was charged by the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office with two counts of murder and two counts of dealing methamphetamine. Brady, meanwhile, was charged with two counts of dealing methamphetamine and a single count of carrying a gun without a license.
Two other victims, a 24-year-old woman and 34-year-old man, are still listed in critical condition at Memorial Hospital, according to ABC 57.
Both Snyder and Brady are still in St. Joseph County jail, awaiting a court appearance on Monday.
