A death investigation is underway in Benton Harbor.

Officers of the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety were called to a home in the 1200 block of Superior on Sunday, Sept. 3, and found the body of a woman, dead, inside one of the bedrooms.

The victim is identified as Jeanette Finehout, 26.

Detectives are investigating Finehout’s as suspicious, pending the autopsy.
