Notre Dame go into their bye week, but not before cracking the top 20 in all of NCAA Division 1 football.

The Fighting Irish vaulted up five spots to #16 in the new Associated Press Top 25 Poll, after a convincing 33-10 win over North Carolina on Saturday.

But the rest of the schedule will be a true test of their mettle, with five of their remaining six games against ranked teams. The current #13, USC, is up next on Oct. 21.

Their last five games feature #20 North Carolina State, unranked Wake Forest, #11 Miami, #25 Navy in the season’s final home game, and then a trip to #23 Stanford on November 25th.
