A house fire in South Bend Sunday night is under investigation.

Fire crews were called to the home in the 800 block of South Edison Avenue around 8:30 p.m. and found flames shooting out of the south side of the home. They were able to douse the fire quickly and left the scene by 10 p.m.

No one was inside the home when they arrived and there were no injuries reported.

Officials say the blaze likely began in the living room of the home.
