Man, 25, found shot on W. Indiana Avenue in Elkhart

A 25-year-old man in Elkhart was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound.

The shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21, in the 400 block of West Indiana Avenue.

Officers with the Elkhart Police Department were sent to that location after receiving a report of gunfire.

The  victim’s injuries appeared to be non-life-threatening, according to Elkhart Police.

There was no word of any suspects or arrests as of 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.
