Berrien County woman’s drowning death ruled accidental

A Berrien County woman’s death earlier this month has been ruled accidental.

57-year-old Anna Hyszczak’s death has been ruled an accidental drowning by a medical examiner. Lincoln Township police didn’t believe there was any foul play when Hyszczak’s body was pulled from North Lake near Stevensville a day after she went missing on October 3rd.

Police say she returned home from work, left her keys and cell phone at home, and took off on her bike without telling anyone where she was going. Her bike was found north of Grand Mere State Park, not far from where her body was found.
