An argument between a boyfriend and girlfriend led to a stabbing in South Bend.

Officers with the South Bend Police Department were called to the 1000 block of North Elmer Street just after 12 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19, but when they arrived, the victim and suspect had already left the area.

Witnesses they spoke with were uncooperative, according to investigators, as reported by 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners with ABC 57.

The victim was found a while later at a different location with a stab wound to the arm, ABC 57 reported.
