Crews battle big barn fire near Syracuse

Fire crews worked well into the evening of Tuesday, Dec. 5, after a barn caught fire at a pig farm near Syracuse.

Crews were called to the area of County Road 131 south of U.S. 6 around 9 p.m.

The fire was under control thanks to a team effort between crew members, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.

There was no word on the cause of the blaze as of 12 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
