Six elementary students hurt in bus crash in Elkhart

Six elementary school students in Elkhart were injured in a bus crash Wednesday morning.

 

According to police, a Nissan Pathfinder on 2nd Street t-boned Beardsley Bus 74 while it was traveling on Jackson.

The injured children were evaluated at a hospital and treated for minor injuries, and all are expected to be okay. The district contacted their parents.

The rest of the 23 students on the bus at the time were examined by the school nurse. The crash happened around 8:15 am.

Neither of the two drivers involved were injured.
