Shooters fire half-dozen shots into south side South Bend home

South Bend police are investigating a shooting that took place early Wednesday morning.

Several people inside the home in the 200 block of East Fox Street were startled when six bullets went through the front door and windows. No one was injured, even though several bullets made their way to where people were sleeping, including a teenager and 2-year-old child.

Crime Scene officers recovered casings at the scene. There’s no description of any suspects at this time.
