The Warsaw Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at the Warsaw Market, located at 801 E. Center Street.

The gas station, previously identified by police as the Freedom Express, was just robbed earlier this month.

The most recent incident took place Friday before 5:30 a.m.

The store manager told police they had been robbed at gunpoint by a man with a large handgun or sawed off shotgun. Gen was reportedly wearing a black coat, hoodie, and black gloves.

The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash. Both this suspect and the suspect from the January 2 armed robbery are still at large.

At this point in the investigation, police have not determined if the two robberies are related, despite occurring at the same business.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Warsaw Police Department Detective Division at 574-372-9540.
